    TENNESSEE VALLEY CHAPTERS OF NDIA AND WID PRESENT ANNUAL AWARDS, SCHOLARSHIPS, AND FELLOWSHIPS

    The Tennessee Valley Chapter of NDIA held its 2015 Awards Dinner on 27 April in Huntsville, AL. Keynote Speaker was LTG David Mann, Commanding General, Space and Missile Defense Command/Army Forces Strategic Command and Joint functional Component Command (SMDC/ARSTRAT).

    NDIA-TVC, through their awards and scholarship program, is committed to helping government and industry organizations publically recognize their current talent, and supporting the development of the new talent that will be needed in the future defense workforce. The awards program encourages nominations of government and industry individuals as well as composite teams of government and industry employees.  Awards were presented in three categories: Technology, Management, and Leadership Excellence.

    The evening included the presentation of NDIA-TVC awards, NDIA-TVC and WID-TVC undergraduate scholarships, and NDIA-TVC Space & Missile Defense Working Group graduate fellowships.
